Ms. Lynn Kuti has been dancing since she was 9 years old and began teaching ballet over 45 years ago. Growing up in the western suburbs of Chicago, Ms. Lynn grew up using her love of dance to overcome the challenges and stresses of life. Losing her mother and brother at a young age Ms. Lynn found a sense of peace and a safe place in her dancing.
Life challenges seemed to follow Ms. Lynn as she lost her husband to cancer and her home to economic hardships. In spite of it all she would succeed to raise her daughters, repair her credit, and purchase a new home; all while never allowing these challenges to deter her from her love for dance or her desire to provide the joy of the arts, specifically through her teaching dance, to those less fortunate.
Today, through a non-profit dance school which she founded, Ms. Lynn pays it forward and achieves her life dreams by offering dance scholarships to children when their parents are unable to afford dance lessons for their kids. Additionally Ms. Lynn has founded the "Not Your Typical Ballet Company" which features 15 beautiful dancers who preform locally at community centers and other local locations. She is the proud mother of two beautiful, strong, and successful daughters and enjoys traveling to see her two grandchildren on holidays.
