Jessie is a suburban Chicago native and current graduate student at the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs earning her Masters of Public Affairs and Masters of Science in Environmental Science. She has dedicated her life to promoting sustainability and public health, interning everywhere from The Environmental Protection Agency to a Tribal government in Alaska.
She is one of the founders of SustainApp, which is a mobile phone application that provides consumers with detailed information about sustainability at the point of purchase. She got her start in advocacy with a Chicago-based youth outreach performance group, The Happiness Club (http://www.thehappinessclub.com/), which she still supports as possible while out of state. After graduation, Jessie will be working as a Presidential Management Fellow in Washington, DC.
