The second annual BIBO Awards was held in Chicago on October 11, 2014. 14 incredible Chicago-based women were honored for their hard work, role model, and leadership qualities. Among these ladies was the amazing Colonel Jill Morgenthaler, who was honored for service in the military as well as being one of the first women to complete ROTC training in Pennsylvania. Angela Rose, founder of PAVE, was honored for her work against sexual predators and victims of assault and kidnapping. Donica Lynn, a 3x brain cancer survivor as well as accomplished singer and performer, was honored for her strength and talents. They all received the coveted Reflection Award trophy as well as 11 other astounding women. Presenters included celebrity Chef Judson Allen, Undefeated welterweight boxer Will Coix, and Senator Iris Y. Martinez (a BIBO Awards 2013 alumna) Miss Illinois 2014, Marisa Buchheit presented the BIBO Starlet award to Miss Shantel Steve and performed an amazing operatic musical piece. BIBO Correspondent, Renee Ritchey, was on hand to interview these outstanding women as well as BIBO Awards founder, Traci S. Campbell Dave Jennings of WGN Radio 720 and "You and Me This Morning" Show (WCIU TV Chicago) producer, Summer Jackson, were the event Master of Ceremonies and Co-host.
