The Beauty In/ Beauty Out (BIBO) Awards made its successful debut in Las Vegas in November 2014. 14 amazing women were honored for their works in areas such as community service, mentorship, political involvement, entrepreneurship, and education. The support and response to the awards event was overwhelming and as a result, the BIBO Awards will be back on September 19th, 2015.
Beloved Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow will return as our incredible Master of Ceremonies. Award presenters for BIBO Awards Las Vegas 2015 include local celebrities and media representatives such as: Matt Jaskol of Dream Racing, CBS radio news anchor Dayna Roselli, and TV personality and self-esteem coach, Cheryl Truesdale.
Founded in 2012, the BIBO Awards celebrate “real beauty” and “real role models”. Real women are awarded the Reflection Award trophy for their accomplishments. Award categories and honors are given to exceptional women in areas such as education, military service, media and entertainment, politics, nonprofit work, and community service just to name a few. The goal is to bring attention to women in local communities who are truly worthy of recognition for their hard work and efforts while having a positive impact on the media and future generations as well. The event is semi-formal and offers a mix of glamour combined with a strong social cause theme.
This year, the BIBO Awards will recognize more incredible women in Las Vegas who have earned the distinction of Honoree recognition and “real role models” including: Marlene Richter (Executive Director of The Shade Tree, A 25 year old organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, children and their pets affected by domestic violence and crisis in the Las Vegas valley), Calanit Atia (Israeli Air Force Veteran and is a very successful entrepreneur in event planning and management. She is the founder of A to Z events in Las Vegas and has received numerous awards for her event planning and management expertise) and Christy Stevens (Founder of Hearts Alive Village a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps in the area of animal rescue)
The BIBO Awards is presented by C.H.A.M.P. Community Project, a 501(c) (3) organization, which provides self-development and self-empowerment educational programs focused on the emotional and mental well-being of adults and teens living in single-parent environments. Both organizations were founded by author, social entrepreneur, and radio host Traci S. Campbell.
