Amy, Ph.D. is a Senior Forest Campaigner for Greenpeace. She passionately advocates for an end to global deforestation through markets-based campaigns and working with corporations on their sourcing of commodities including pulp&paper, timber and palm oil. Prior to joining Greenpeace, Amy loved departing knowledge to the next generation of environmental stewards at the School of Environmental and Public Affairs at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she earned her doctorate and taught courses on a variety of environmental issues. Amy attended Oxford University and the University of Southern California earning her masters and Bachelor degrees prior to getting her doctorate in Environmental Science. Amy works tirelessly as a mother and advocate to leave a better world for the next generation, including her young daughter.
