As a certified Chef, studying International Cuisine at The Art Institute in Chicago, also won the International NAME THAT SAUCE COMPETITION by Sara Lee Corporation out of 5,000 chefs, she was inducted into the National Chef Federation and will have her winning sauce part of their international product line for a lifetime. She is Founder of Candy Girl, Owner of Kingpin Eatery Restaurant, Project Director for the Barbershop Tour/Real men Love Purple Prom, and Vice President and National Executive Producer of REAL MEN COOK. Allison brings over 33 years of experience in Promotion, Talent Management Consulting, TV Production, TV writing, General Management, Culinary, Sales, Branding and Marketing. She is a Former General Manager of the ABL's Chicago Condors, the premiere women's professional basketball league, where she was not only the first African American female to run a professional sports team, but her franchise led in ticket and merchandise sales out of 13 states. Former President of Operations for MAMISI, an international E-Commerce Company founded by actor, Wesley Snipes. Allison has also worked in Literary for William Morris Agency, the world’s Largest Licensed Franchised Talent Agency in the world and as a Writer, Special Events Director for the City of Chicago, Casting Associate, and Production Coordinator for HBO, Johnny Carson Productions, NBC and Fox Network shows.
She is currently co-authoring her first book with sister and client, Actress Drew Sidora and producing SUNDRESS DAY, the female answer to REAL MEN COOK...The event will be held on July 16, 2016. Allison is on the Board Of Directors for Sporting Chance Foundation, Education Foundation for School District 201U, and Dream Makers. Her philanthropic work has awarded her the Humanitarian Award in 2008, The Volunteer Leader Honor from Real Men Charities in 2007, Woman of Excellence sponsored by The Brain Trust. She has worked tirelessly as a mentor in Chicago’s most indigent community, providing shelter, guidance and food to at risk teenagers.
